Our story starts...
LexYouth Learning Program is a non-profit program sponsored by CALex. The goals are to help our youth teachers grow and give back to communities, and to offer teachers the skills and experiences to become future leaders.
Since launching the program on December 1, 2020, it now has more than 40 active teachers tutoring in various subjects, including Special Needs, Chess, Arts, Music, Math, English, Spanish, Computer Science, and Chinese. This program has received great positive feedback from both teachers and students.
Our next step is to expand the program further. We are actively looking for youth teachers from all backgrounds to expand the program beyond Lexington and the Chinese American community. We will also collaborate with other non-profit organizations, matching our talented youth teachers with students who need tutoring and guidance.
If you are a middle/high school/college student looking for challenges and opportunities to grow leadership skills, we welcome you to find out more about our program and consider joining us in serving the community.
